West Jordan grew quickly, and a surprising amount of the glass we meet here has never actually been cleaned properly since the day it was installed. Builders leave behind mortar splash, stucco spatter, adhesive from labels and the occasional paint fleck, and unless someone deals with it in the first year it becomes a permanent looking part of the window. Attempting it with ordinary tools is how glass gets scratched, so it is worth having someone assess it before anyone starts scrubbing.

Upper glass is part of the standard whole house quote, not an extra line added at the end of the job.
Almost always the prevailing wind. Homes on the western part of the city sit closer to open ground and the foothills beyond, and the afternoon breeze carries dry soil off that ground onto the west and southwest elevations. Front windows can look perfectly fine while the back or side looks dusty. If that is your situation, cleaning the exposed elevations more often than the whole house is usually the cheaper approach.
