Few places in Utah have changed as fast as this one, and it is still changing. Construction dust here is not ordinary dust, and that is worth understanding. Cement, mortar and gypsum dust from nearby building work is alkaline, and when it lands on glass and then gets wet it can etch the surface if it is left sitting for months. Homes next to an active phase pick this up continuously, which is why we suggest more frequent cleaning while building continues nearby rather than waiting for a seasonal visit.
The coated glass used throughout newer construction here needs its own care. Abrasive pads and aggressive scraping will permanently mark a low emissivity surface, so every unfamiliar pane gets identified first. Mineral spotting from irrigation is the third and most ordinary issue, treated separately from the general wash.

Abrasive pads and heavy scraping will scar it permanently and nothing brings that back. We identify what a window carries before starting, use soft tools and coating safe solution, and test a small area first if we are unsure.
In most cases yes, but access is worth confirming ahead. Newer neighborhoods here place garages on narrow rear lanes, which can limit where a vehicle parks and how much room there is to set a ladder behind the house. We ask about that when you book so the crew arrives with the right equipment rather than improvising. Where the lane is too tight, we work from the ground with poles instead.
