Palm Harbor spreads from the old fishing hamlets of Ozona and Crystal Beach on the Gulf side across to the golf course rooftops of Lansbrook and Boot Ranch, and the two halves ask for different work. West of Alternate 19 the houses sit lower and older, with wood casements, jalousie panels on the Florida rooms and salt on anything facing water. Out toward East Lake Road the homes are newer and glassier, with two story foyer windows and sliders opening onto screened pools. Our crews split the city on that line rather than treating it as one route.
Much of Palm Harbor sits inside deed restricted communities, so we book by neighborhood and work several homes in a morning instead of criss crossing the Pinellas Trail all day. Gated sections such as Highland Lakes and Ridgemoor get a scheduled window rather than a call ahead. Downtown Palm Harbor along Florida Avenue is a different job again, storefront glass that wants an early start before the shops open.
Amazing job. Very professional and our windows are perfectly clean. Thanks Squeegeezy!

Like peas in a pod...

Two things mark glass here. The first is reclaimed water. Pinellas County irrigates a great deal of Palm Harbor with reclaimed supply, and it carries more dissolved mineral than tap. A sprinkler head that clips the bottom of a window leaves a chalky band that hardens in the sun, and left through a summer it will begin to etch. The second is the Gulf, close enough west that a west facing pane picks up a fine salt haze well inland.
We treat those separately. Mineral banding gets a dwell time and a controlled descaler before a squeegee touches it, and badly scaled panes are flagged for a restoration pass rather than promised in one visit. Salt film rinses away with pure water, so coastal homes finish on a deionized rinse and no towel marks.
Yes. A large share of Palm Harbor is deed restricted or gated, including sections of Highland Lakes, Ridgemoor and Lansbrook, and we work in all of them. When you book we ask for the gate code or the name to leave at the guard house so the crew is not sitting at the entrance waiting. If your association keeps a certificate of insurance on file for vendors, let us know and we will send ours across before the visit.
That is almost always reclaimed irrigation water. Much of Palm Harbor waters lawns from the county reclaimed supply, which carries more dissolved mineral than tap. When a sprinkler head clips the glass the water dries in the sun and leaves a chalky line at the same height every time. Ordinary cleaning will not lift it. It needs dwell time and a mineral treatment, and if it has sat for several seasons the pane may already be etched underneath.
West of Alternate 19, closer to Ozona and Crystal Beach, twice a year keeps salt film from settling in and dulling the view. Homes further east toward East Lake Road usually do fine on an annual clean, unless sprinklers are hitting the glass, in which case the schedule follows the irrigation rather than the calendar. Storefronts along Florida Avenue are a different rhythm and most of those book monthly or every other week.
