This city stretches from older blocks off Las Vegas Boulevard North all the way out to Aliante and open desert beyond the 215. That distance produces two very different jobs. The southern end has single story houses from the 1950s and 1960s, some with original aluminum sliders and a handful still wearing jalousie panels. The northern end is almost entirely post 2000 stucco with two story entry glass and tight side yards.
North Las Vegas is also where much of the valley's warehousing sits. Along Cheyenne, Craig and out toward the Apex district, storefront and office glass faces truck routes that run all day, so those cleans get booked early or between shifts. Residential routes stay in the neighborhoods off Camino Al Norte and Deer Springs, where driveways give a crew room to stage and screens come out without a fight. Those two halves rarely land on the same day.
Amazing job. Very professional and our windows are perfectly clean. Thanks Squeegeezy!

Like peas in a pod...

Two things load glass in this city. First is raw desert. The northern edge still borders undeveloped ground and active grading, so any wind event drops pale silt across everything facing north and west, and it packs into sill corners.
Second is road and diesel film off the freight corridors, a sticky gray haze that plain water will not lift, so commercial panes get a detergent wash before the final rinse. On the housing side, the usual southern Nevada mineral spotting turns up wherever irrigation reaches the wall, and it is worse here because many yards still run spray heads tight against the foundation. Moving one head a foot out often saves a whole window.
Yes, and it is a sizeable share of our work in this city. Storefront and office glass along Cheyenne, Craig and out toward the Apex industrial area collects road film from constant truck traffic, so those panes get a detergent wash before the rinse. We schedule early morning or between shifts so a crew is not working around forklifts and dock movement. Monthly and quarterly plans are common for buildings sitting on freight routes.
The northern edge of the city still borders open desert and active grading, so wind carries fine silt straight into the neighborhoods off Deer Springs and Aliante Parkway. It settles on ledges and sills, then one rain turns it into mud streaks down the pane. Nothing stops that completely. What helps is cleaning frames and tracks rather than glass alone, so the next wind event has less loose material sitting there to wash down.
We can. The southern part of the city holds single story houses from the 1950s and 1960s, many with original aluminum sliders and a few with jalousie panels still in service. Jalousies take time, since every louver has two faces and the clips grow brittle with age, so those are priced by the panel rather than by the opening. Single pane glass of that vintage often carries old paint flecks, and we lift what comes safely.
