A large share of the glass we clean in Kissimmee belongs to houses nobody lives in full time. The vacation rental corridor along US 192 and the communities spreading south of it are built around short stays, which means changeover days, a cleaning window measured in hours and pool enclosures that have to photograph well for a listing. We work those bookings around departures and arrivals and can be finished between the two.
The rest of the city has nothing to do with tourism. Downtown around Broadway and the older streets near Lake Tohopekaliga hold early twentieth century houses with wood sash, deep porches and mature oaks leaning over them. Out toward Buenaventura Lakes the housing is ordinary suburban stock on smaller lots. Those three markets get separate routes because their timing has almost nothing in common.

Central Florida weather does most of the damage. Afternoon storms arrive nearly every day through summer, and rain that has collected dust on the way down dries into spotting across a whole pane, worst on west facing glass that then bakes in the evening sun. Lovebugs come twice a year and their residue is acidic enough that leaving it on hot glass is a real risk to the surface.
Rental properties add a layer of their own. Sunscreen and handprints on slider glass, chlorine mist inside a pool enclosure and pollen blown through the screen all build faster than in a family home. We clean the enclosure and the sliders together on those jobs, since a listing photograph shows the cage as plainly as it shows the windows.

Give us the checkout and check in times and we will fit the exterior glass, sliders and enclosure into that gap. Bad enough that it is worth acting on. They arrive roughly twice a year, in late spring and again toward the end of summer, and they collect on west and south facing glass and on screen enclosures. The residue is acidic, and left baking on a hot pane for weeks it can mark the surface. The fix is not scrubbing harder, it is softening the residue with water and lifting it off before it hardens further.
