Greeley is a working city, and the calendar of the surrounding farm country shapes our year here more than the weather does. Spring tillage and fall harvest both put a lot of soil into the air, so we tend to book residential work in the quieter stretches between them. In town, the housing runs from the 1920s brick homes around Glenmere Park and the older blocks near downtown to the newer subdivisions pushing west toward the highway, and the window styles change just as sharply.
The University of Northern Colorado gives the middle of the city its own character, with a mix of student rentals, older single family homes and campus adjacent apartments that turn over on a predictable schedule. Downtown along 8th Avenue and 9th Street, the brick commercial buildings carry tall display glass and upper floor sash. Out on the edges of town, properties with acreage, shops and outbuildings usually need a different quote than a standard house on a city lot.
Amazing job. Very professional and our windows are perfectly clean. Thanks Squeegeezy!

Farm and field activity is the dominant factor. When the ground is worked in spring and again at harvest, a fine silty dust travels on the wind and settles on everything, and it bonds quickly to glass that already has a little moisture on it. Properties near county roads pick up gravel dust on top of that every time a truck goes by.
Water is the second problem. The supply in this area is mineral heavy, and sprinkler and irrigation overspray leaves crusty white spotting that a standard wash will not lift once it has hardened. Those panes get a dedicated mineral treatment. Homes on well water tend to show it worst, and we usually recommend adjusting spray heads away from glass to slow the buildup.
Aim for the quiet stretches between field work. Spring tillage and fall harvest both push a lot of fine soil into the air around this area, and glass cleaned in the middle of either one will not stay clear long. Early summer and the weeks after harvest usually give the most durable result. If you live close to a county road, the same logic applies to gravel dust, which is heaviest during the dry months.
In most cases yes. Well water in this area carries a heavy mineral load, and when a sprinkler head hits the same pane every morning, that mineral builds into a hard crust rather than a smudge. We use a treatment made for mineral deposits, work it by hand and then rinse and finish. If the deposits have been building for years they may have etched the surface, and we will be straight with you about what is recoverable.
We do. Properties with shops, barns or outbuildings need a different estimate than a house on a city lot, because there is more glass, the surfaces are dirtier and access is often across uneven ground. We will ask about outbuildings when you call so the quote is accurate the first time. Gravel drives and open ground mean these properties usually benefit from cleaning more than once a year.
